There are many foods good for teeth . Food, despite being the most basic need of human, is still underestimated. That’s why many are still eating unhealthy food. If we have enough appreciation for it, we will all be disease free. Food the right food will not only put you in the right weight, it will make your body function in such an efficient way, you might as well be living in a health spa. Teeth is one of the body parts that benefit from healthy eating and there are some foods particularly good for our pearly whites.

Foods Good for Teeth: Celery

Not many know this but saliva helps in keeping your teeth healthy and celery stimulate your saliva by making you chew more. It particularly targets bacteria called Streptococcus mutans. It also helps the gums as chewing massages the gums and cleans the spaces in between teeth. Try celery once a day.

Low-carb cheese is good for your teeth. The high calcium helps in achieving the right pH amount. pH is an acid supports the growth of bad bacteria. It can also help preserve the enamel of your teeth by stimulating your saliva. So next time you want some snack, try cheese or have cheese instead of sweets for desert.

Foods Good for Teeth: Green Tea

Green tea is rich in catechins destroys the bacteria that converts sugar to plaque and it kills the bacteria that causes bad breath. If you are a coffee drinker, replace one of your cups to green tea or pack some cold green tea at the office and drink it instead of plain water.
