Amazing Tooth Technology: Digital Tooth

Here is something meant to put some smile on our faces and make us shake our head in disbelief.

Man’s insatiable search for trend setting technologies is starting to creep into the teeth bsuiness as new design for tooth implants migh include the capability to receive digital signals. This means that people may be able to receive calls and access data through their tooth implant. This is bound to give a new meaning to the phrase ‘I’ve got something in my tooth’. The next time that is told, that something might be a phone call from your boss telling you you’re fired.

Jimmy Loizeau and James Auger, research associates from MIT Media Lab Europe collaborated on the design as part of the the “future products” exhibit, an annual even supported by the National Edowment for Science, Technology & the Arts.

So what do you think about the digital tooth? You think it will be broadband?

This development will surely raise some debates on how far technology is supposed to go.
