Stay Away From Teeth Whitening Scams

Many websites offer promises of free trials for teeth whitening products, but unfortunately the free trial turns into auto-renewing subscriptions that are quite expensive.

In order to avoid such scams, you should avoid free trials and consult your dentist. He or she may recommend products that are safe to use. They are professionals who can better decide whether new products are efficient or just ways of getting money from you.
If you decide to buy online, you should read everything carefully, especially terms and conditions. Most teeth whitening scams offering free trials will also ask you to sign up for membership or preferred customer offers. You have to fill in credit card information to pay for the shipment of the ‘free trial’ product. Once you have given such information, getting out of such charges is more difficult than what it is initially claimed. A lot of people just give up trying, and they end up paying monthly charges for something they have never agreed to in the first place.

Not all the companies offering teeth whitening kits are dishonest, so it is up to you to avoid being scammed. Take time and do some research on any product that is offered for free, and even for those that have a lower price when sold on the Internet.

It is always a good idea to search the Internet to find out more about the product you are being offered. Look for testimonials on the product and see if there are any dissatisfied customers. Even when there are plenty of positive reviews, keep in mind that almost everybody can post a product review on certain sites, so behind a positive comment there may be a person interested in creating a positive false image.

On the other hand, negative reviews cannot be stopped either so if you find plenty of these, keep in mind that it is very likely that real people wrote them because they are trying to help others and prevent them from being scammed.
